PROGRAM

A two-day experience in one of the most beautiful environmental, historical and landscape contexts of the Aosta Valley, along the route of the Tour of Monte Rosa and Alta via n. 1. From the Alpenzù refuge, perched on a natural balcony, the view sweeps from the Monte Rosa massif to the entire valley.
A spectacular location, in the heart of a small inhabited jewel, which boasts an ancient history, the first evidence of which dates back to 1200. A unique place to explore, where you can experience a new approach to the mountains, nature and your own more conscious inner dimension.
Two professionals at your disposal, to advise you and help you discover the benefits of trekking and yoga activities.
To find balance and serenity, treat yourself to a special weekend, away from stress and worries, in the spectacular scenery of Monte Rosa!

REFUGE – BASE CAMP

GROUP DEPARTURES

DAY

8.45 meeting point in Gressoney-la-Trinitè
9.15 check of the equipment and departure for the Alpenzù Refuge (1.779m)

With a pleasant walk of about two hours we will cross woods and pastures, with the grandiose spectacle of the Monte Rosa massif in the background. We will admire the villages of Alpenzù piccolo and Alpenzù grande, where the architecture of the Walser tradition has remained admirably preserved, in particular in the “stadel”, original rural buildings of wood and stone, which rest on small mushroom-shaped columns.

The two villages are located on the route of the Great Walser Trail. This is the itinerary traveled by the populations from beyond the Alps of Germanic origin: starting from the 12th century, they migrated to the Aosta Valley through the mountains, bringing their own language and traditions with them.
A setting rich in history and traditions, which will be the backdrop to the activities planned for the two days with the hiking guide and the hatha yoga teacher, in a small group to ensure relaxation and well-being.

11.15-11.30 arrival and accommodation in the refuge
11.45-12.30 stretching and relaxation

Lunch in the refuge

15.30 / 17.30 practice of hatha yoga

Dinner at the refuge

20:30 meditation exercises and short debate
22:00 overnight stay in the refuge
