PROGRAM

The trek takes place at the foot of Mont Fallère (3.061 m) and is about 36 km long with an elevation gain of 2.700 metres. It is recommended to all of those who enjoy hiking in the mountains, since it does not have any technical difficulties but requires anyway a fair physical workout. We walk an average of 5/6 hours per day, always on not difficult and well marked paths; for this reason, we have the time to admire the surrounding landscape and take the most of the  two stops in the huts (Mont Fallère and Chaligne), both very comfortable.

In breve:

  • Duration: 3 days/2 nights
  • Overnight: 2 nights in a hut (Chaligne hut and Mont Fallère hut) with half board (dinner and breakfast).
  • Elevation gain: about 2.700 m
  • Length: about 36 km
  • Altitude of the highest point of the trek: about 2.821 m (Mont de Vertosan)
