For those who want to give ice climbing a try for the first time or for those who want to improve their technique and observation skills under the advice of an experienced mountain guide.

PROGRAM

The location will be chosen according to the best ice and weather conditions.
You will discover the best lines in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta: icefalls that are easy to reach on foot, amidst snow-covered valleys.
You will learn to climb on ice in complete safety, accompanied by certified Alpine Guides.

The programme can be customised.

Meeting point: meeting at a suitable location and briefing. Personal equipment check and distribution of technical equipment.

The day will be dedicated to learning the basic techniques for enjoying the verticality and spectacularity of this magical element.
The Alpine Guide will show you techniques for using ice axes and crampons, in total safety, on easy pitches.
Fun will be guaranteed!

RATES

450 € fee per person with 1 participant

The rate includes
  • the assistance of a UIAGM/IFMGA certified Mountain Guide
  • liability insurance
  • safety gear used by the Guide (eg rope)
  • any personal equipment (harness, technical ice axes, waterfall crampons and helmet)

The rate does not include
  • research and rescue insurance with UVGAM coverage (recommended): €5 per person for 3 days
  • transfers
  • extra meals and beverages
  • anything that is not mentioned under "The rate includes"

  • It is crucial that participants follow all instructions provided by the mountain guides before and during the activities, and that they accept any changes made to the programme in order to guarantee their safety.
  • Fees for lift facilities, transfers and mountain lodges are subject to changes established and applied by they respective owners. without any liability attributable to PEAKSHUNTER Mountain Guides.
